Elaine McMillan
Paralegal
Elaine joined Strefford Tulips in 1996 and is our longest serving employee working in Louise Johnstone's team as a paralegal. She specialises in all aspects of conveyancing.
In her spare time Elaine runs about after her two children and husband and enjoys time with her extended family.
Tracy McCormack
Paralegal / Office Manageress
Tracy joined Strefford Tulips in 2004 and works full time assisting David Strefford with all aspects of residential conveyancing. Tracy qualified as a Paralegal in 1997 at Strathclyde University and has over 30 years’ experience working in a legal environment.
In her spare time Tracy enjoys spending time with her family, horse riding and catching up with friends.
Lisa Finnigan
Paralegal
Lisa joined Strefford Tulips in June 2015. Working as a Paralegal in Louise Johnstone’s team, Lisa deals with all aspects of residential conveyancing and obtained her Paralegal Certificate in 2014. Lisa has over 17 years’ experience working in a legal environment. She is friendly, outgoing, professional, caring and hard working.
Lisa enjoys caring for her 2 children alongside her husband and spending time socializing with family and friends.
Siobhan McKinstrie
Paralegal
Siobhan joined the firm in 2007 as a Legal Secretary to Louise Johnstone and has since qualified as a Paralegal in 2016.
In her spare time Siobhan enjoys spending time with family, watching movies and catching up with friends.
Shirley McEwan
Shirley qualified as a Paralegal in 2008 and joined Strefford Tulips in April 2024 working in Louise Johnstone’s team. Shirley has experience in various aspects of conveyancing and is accredited with the Law Society of Scotland.
In her spare time, she assists her daughter helping take her grandchildren to their various hobbies. Her own personal hobby is playing bowls in the summer months however living in Scotland that usually means in the rain! She also likes to get to her caravan with her dog to recharge.
Eilish Carlton
Eilish joined Strefford Tulips in May 2024. Working as a Paralegal in Geraldine Darroch’s team, she is relatively new to Conveyancing only obtaining her qualification in May 2023, at the very beginning of her maternity leave. Eilish’s background is in Private Client but is now looking to further her career in Conveyancing.
With two little ones to take care of, Eilish doesn’t have much in the way of spare time, but does enjoy time spent with her husband and children, cooking, baking and going to the gym.
Jodie Hamilton
Jodie joined Strefford Tulips in 2024 as a paralegal, studying at University West Scotland BA Honours Law and due to graduate in November 2024. Jodie plans to further her education to gain her Diploma and qualify as a solicitor in the next coming years.
In her spare time Jodie enjoys traveling and socialising with friends and family.
Lucy McCormack
Lucy began her journey with Strefford Tulips in 2018 as a temporary receptionist. She later transitioned to Lynne McDade’s team, where she achieved her paralegal qualification in 2021. Currently, Lucy is advancing her career by pursuing an LLB in Law at Glasgow Caledonian University, aiming to qualify as a solicitor in the coming years.
Outside of work and studies, Lucy enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her friends and family.
Abigail Jenkins
Abigail joined Strefford Tulips in January of 2025 working under Lynn Pacitti. She is presently completing an LLB at Edinburgh Napier University and is also a qualified Paralegal. She is dedicated to a career in conveyancing.
In her free time, she enjoys going to festivals and going on holidays with her loved ones.
Katelin McConville
Katelin joined Strefford Tulips in 2025 as a Paralegal. She holds an LLB in Scots Law from the University of Stirling and is currently pursuing the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow, with the aim of qualifying as a solicitor in the near future. She also possesses practical experience in both criminal and family law.
In her spare time Katelin enjoys spending time with her young son and family. She also enjoys going to the gym, travelling and spending time in nature.
